Stainless steel 316L pipe
316L Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe is an austenitic stainless steel pipe widely selected for applications requiring good corrosion resistance, particularly in environments containing chlorides and other corrosive media. The addition of molybdenum to the 316L composition improves resistance to localized corrosion compared with many standard stainless steel grades.
The low-carbon 316L grade is commonly used in welded and fabricated equipment because its lower carbon content helps reduce the risk of sensitization during suitable welding and fabrication processes.
316L seamless pipes are used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical equipment, food processing, marine applications, water treatment, petrochemical systems, and industrial piping where the material must withstand demanding service conditions.
